Can't seem to get wiring diagram...

I have been trying to get a wiring diagram for the P5, but dealers say it is not available (not just backordered, but not listed). The Wiring Diagram PN I have is 9999-95-019G-02.

Anyone actually have one of these?

I'm in the same boot. I about to let Extreme Motorsports in Jessup install an AFC on my car and I've been looking ofr the pin outs myself. I found the pin out for the MP3 ECU on the MazdaMp3 forum site, for you this would probably work but not for me as I have the 1.6L Gen3. Go there and do an ECU pin out search. If you do get a hold of a diagram with pin outs and it has the 1.6L in it could let me copy it? Turbo project will be 90% done this weekend just need to get it to Extreme to get it all tuned up. Pics in the link in my sig. checkout the last ten or so pics.
Good Luck

Ok guys guess what!!!! I can get the wire diagram for the MP3 as well as the MP5 anytime i want . This IS NOT AVAILIABLE TO THE PUBPLIC at least not thru a dealership. Why not sure. but i have a friend that works at a mazda dealership and i can get the inso printed out for me. The print outs are for the 2002 MP3 and the 2002 MP5!!!hell i might be able to get the wire diagrams for other years if they are not availble over the counter items!! So i should be getting my AFC within a couple of weeks!!!

Hope this works!!!

Uuum, has it occured to you guys that an S-AFC won't do anything because Protege's EFI operates in open-loop mode at WOT and ignores the sensors?

Just curious

Well i have a buyer for my AFC if in fact it doesn't create ANY WORTH WHILE performance out of the car. Plus i am also getting the AFC for a CHEAPPPPPP price. So if work and works good enought for me then i will keep it. If it doesn't perform well then i can sell it ANYTIME since the afc is a hot item!!!!

But yea i have realized that...

Not that I'm knowledgeable in this area, but could't you just adjust the throttle position sensor to not hit WOT so the CPU never goes into open loop.

I was wondering this same thing. If there is no WOT, the CPU won' t take over. Right?

Pinouts for the 1.6L ECU I don't have any as of yet. I recently bought a factory service manual of ebay once it arrives I'll have to see what is has as far as pinouts.
