Just an update

I got my hood done finally.. here are some pics

 

That hood is nice looking though....could do without the white mesh though...keep the black theme going...that mesh would be a biatch to keep clean. Just my $0.02.

This website is selling gemini hoods at a good price...check it out....the hoods are awsome.

 

the "v-weave" they have pictured on that site, is not the v-weave. how do i know? I took that picture. no v-weave hood has been made or taken pictures of, yet. that third picture isn't a picture of the hood on the car. it's a sample picture from elsewhere on gemini's site.

the prices are good. not as good as the g/b that's goin on. but it's ok for everyday prices

i do find it suspicious however that they are including the "rain guard" or Vent cover as it's known and still reportedly selling it for cheaper than my g/b. I find this hard to believe. i'm going to check up on this.

but just based on the little inconsistencies... it doesn't look good. i want 100% honesty from retailers. not 80%. if they are gonna lie 20% who's gonna say if they won't outright 100% lie.

 

Talked to gemini and streetunit....gemini confermed they do make the v-weave. if you goto there website he shows it. street unit is getting them at this price because he does a lot of business with him. here in orlando streetunit.com is the #1 shop for speeds. I know cullen and he is %110 honest. He test the majority of the products on his car. I dont blame you for being skeptical but he is legit...

 

oh no.. I believe they make the V-weave. I've seen Gemini's V-weave, Marc's showed it to me himself.

My point was that they have not made a reverse cowl hood like mine in V-weave. While the pictures clearly infer that they do. To me.. that is definately not 110% honest, not even 100% honest. see my point?

 

one other thing i keep forgeting too is that my g/b price about the same as his cost, but in cdn dollars.. so his hood is like 814 cdn. heh heh. i don't feel as.....preterbed now. but he should still fix that business with the pictures....... There will be a V-weave one made soon. THAT I'M 100% SURE OF
