Cannot find any info on this, I need to know where to place my jack and then the jackstands on a 2002 Protege. Please help! I need the info ASAP, thanks!

when putting the car on jack stands you must be very careful. your service manual will show you exactly where. but they are right behind the tire about 3 or 4 inches back. the verdical sandwiched metal that will be the same color as the car. Its hard to explane check the manual

If you look about six inches in front of your rear tire and about six inches behind your front tire you should see some lines leading to your frame. You want to put the jack (it has a groove I think) around the frame. This is, I believe, how it is set up on your car.
Then you would put the stand just in front of the stand in the front, and just behind the stand in the back. This is what I do with mine.

Hope this helps.......

Thanks guys, your info helped a lot. I couldn't find my manual and was looking at the rear, not the sides. My Racing Beat install was successful, thanks!
