~~~ Bosch +4 Vs. NGK IX iridium ~~~ revisited
~~~ WHAT THE $#*(#$?

Not sure where to begin , but in terms of an update as to whats going on, we have had some pretty bitter arguments as to the results from the dyno on the two plugs, and the results are now messing with our heads. Well at least mine. Someone tell me if this sounds fucked up, because i am going out of my mind trying to figure out if our rigs are fouled up or what? we may need fresh engines to these dynos on.

~~~ BOSCH KINDA WINS?
Let me explain what we got. We were doing the Dynos a while back to see which plug would win, we did it on two Mazdas with about 120,000 on them, but pretty clean as well, and we also did it on the two cars just to make sure that the results were not fudged. Well after running the dynos not once or twice, it seemed bosch edged the NGKs by a very small margin, but still it was there. But then we got backlash from some of the other guys about not allowing the cars to fully cool down before the second run. Anyways after hours and then days of bitching the point. we decided to wash the results and do it again when we had the time and boring Sunday to do it. we did it again at a different facility in London Ontario which seemd a bit more advanced, but the results made us scratch our heads. but would explain a few things.
It seems that the bosch lost power vs. NGK in the lower end but gained power in the mid to higher end.
Which brings us to our next thought.
~~~~ WHAT THE #*$(#$ DOES THAT MEAN?

to be honest i dont know enough about plugs or physics to explain this one, anyone got an idea as to what that means?
and why. I will scan in the dyno print outs when i get my hands on it. but its all right there , 4 runs 2 cars.

The result is more noticible on my car with the Air Filter upgrade and Borla Exhaust. Stock had it but it was almost not worth mentioning

The margin isnt much, still very very close in terms of HP / Torque numbers. but still anyone see how that could happen?

Design? Something we over looked?

Hard to say, to a racer, I would guess if the BOSCH is producing at the HIGH RPM END, then it would be BOSCH

but i dont race, low and middle end is important to me...

it would explain why the dead idle is fuced up with the bosch plugs.
