2.0 L protege 0-60mph stats

there's no such thing as an 04 2.0L protege....
bench racing is NEVER accurate. I've seen stock times from 6.9s to 8s....the faster times are the turbocharged Mazdaspeed protege the slower times are the automatic wagons....
don't bench race...just go the track and find out for yourself what YOUR car will do with you behind the wheel. That's all that matters.

Now dont get it twisted- These times are according to a few different magazines. Basicly
THESE ARE NOT WHAT YOUR CAR IS GOING TO RUN- or at least its not for certain, but here is a link to 0-60 and 1/4 mile times...
http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html
Again- do not say oh my car is going to run this or that if you have never even taken the time and the small fee to run your car down the track- Like it was said- bench racing is STUPID so dont do it...

my buddy and I did some testing in my '02 ES and going up a slight hill we timed (with a stopwatch) a 0-60 in 9.6s so I'm sure the 9.5 is accurate on perfectly level ground. The thing I've found with our cars tho, is we get 0-40ish very quickly, faster then most cars with slightly better 0-60s then us (take my friends 98 passat for example- I always have him right off the line), its that last 20 mph that really kills us.
