What hp/tourqe gains at what rpm range can it add to P5?
With intakes I've heard it advertized in many cases 12 Hp gain, but that 12 HP were availabile way high at 7000 rpm's, while power peaked at 4000 rpm's and that aftermarket intake only added 3HP in that lower most used rpm range.
Did you ever dyno tested it?
Is it made out of a heat proof material (like Ice-man ducts)
How would it work on hot and humid climate with a lot of stop and go in heavy traffic?

P5er. Dont exepct anywhere close to those gains on our engines. You may se 5HP gain max on certain rpms. What you will find is it just opens your engine up better for better breathing. This will really help down the road when you do a better flowing exhaust, intake & exhaust cams, etc. And, it looks & sounds better!! No, I wasnt able to Dyno them nor have I seen any true dynos that show the gain from the AEM or Injen intakes. Between the 2, they are going to see about the same gains. I personally like the Injen better (not that I dislike the AEM though) because of the looks. It just looks better And I think Injen did a good job on this intake. Very easy install. I tried installing the AEM with troubles. Im actually about to send this particular one back to AEM. I think they put the wrong pipe in which is why I wasnt able to get it in!! I actually sell about 1 Aem to about 15 injens so Injen is the preferred intake to my customers

As far as I know, no one has dyno tested any intake by itself on the 3rd gen Protege yet. In my personal experience with the Monsterflow intake and the AEM intake, they don't make a noticable difference in power, just sound. This is supported by Racing Beat's R&D on the MP3 prototype which didn't yield noticable gains from an intake. The FP/FS engines in the Protege don't appear to have a bottleneck in the intake area. They seem to respond best to the FS-ZE intake cam, and headers which replace the restrictive primary cat.
