Impact and Nightowl I got some prices!! I don't know how much you guys were planing to spend but.....Goldwing $456.70 after tax and he said he could knock of a couple of bucks if we ordered 3 Speed Style was $320 + tax each but if we bought 3 he could knock it down to $300 + tax each. Best price I've found on the net is $185 US + shipping which would kill us!!
So let me know ASAP!!! I'm definatly getting one so.....hope you guys buy one to lower the cost a bit!!! hahahha

How much are your taxes/duties from product shipped out of the US? I should be able to easily beat those prices if you order 3 or more but I dont know how much your taxes would be. E-mail me your information if you want me to check into it for you. Freight would probably guessing only be like 20.00USD for 3. But I would need your info to check that. Let me know.

well if my math is right the conversion to canadian dollars from 185 is $240 + 20 for shipping which is about 260, then there is taxes....so we are prob looking at $300 each

i'd preffer to go with mitch on this one.....

you guys agree???

What about duty???? Plus it's 3 different shipping addresses!! So the cost of shipping will be more, if I'm not correct.

sorry guys but your math is no good. Right now it takes $1.60 Canadian to buy $1 American. So $185 American is approximately $296 Canadian.

So $185 for the RAM + $20 Shipping + duty(~10%) plus GST 7% = ~$235 American = ~$375 Canadian!!!!!

This seems about right to me as in my experience when I order from the US, I simply double the price to get the final Canadian cost(after shipping and all that stuff). It's been pretty accurate so far.
However, if you can get the person shipping the item to mark it as a GIFT and not merchandise, we don't have to pay duty or GST, which can be huge(duty ranges from 5%-23% depending on the product). So ordering from someone who distributes from their home with higher prices but marks it as a gift can be much cheaper than a large business with cheaper prices but marks it as merchandise. Ackk, too much to think about.

It's tough to live up here and order from the States. Personally I will not pay $375 for maybe 2 hp gain. I'll wait for something to show up at the local performance shop where it will only be about $200(still expensive). But that jspec intake cam is still looking like a great idea.

I was actually saying 20.00 total shipping on 3 intakes. But, that would mean one of you would have to take delivery. I dont know how close you are to each other but it sounded like you where ordering together at the shop meaning you would be getting it in the same location. Like I said, I didnt know how your duties worked up there. I would let you all work that out. I can work with you in any way I can. Just let me know. Maybe you can figure out a US dollar price that would work for you (reasonable) so you wouldnt have to pay more for ordering US & let me know that. Then I'll see what I can do. Again, shipping all to 1 address would be the cheapest way. If this doesnt work, then I would say go locally. shipping everything at once in 1 shipment is always the best way to go when shipping from US to Canada.

I'm in Montreal as well. I'd be interested in the AEM group buy...I think PatGT1 posted it. Email me at browntrout@hotmail.com with any info. I'd be willing to cough up about 300 bucks for one...anything to expensive and I can wait.

I actually spoke to a car parts supplier one time when I bought a KN drop in filter. He didn carry them. He said that Canadian tire believe it or not is the biggest performance part supplier/retailer in Canada.

Anyone ask at Lazer Auto? These guys usually are a big rip-off though. Dr. Pare-Brise might be better.

For now the best price that I get in Montreal is 290$ + tx CD at Pneus 5 étoiles.

This price is for a group buy of 10 AEM short RAM

But I'm still waiting because.

1- it's winter
2- I wait to see what the ICEMAN will look like
3- I want to make sure that I will not loose TORQUE

That's not bad, about 330$ CDN with tax. I could live with that.

I agree with you, no sense getting one now in the middle of winter. I'd be looking to get one around April/May.

Do you know if the guy cars that some of the intakes will be for 1.8L and others for 2.0L? I don't think it will be a big deal, they are both the same price. I have a 2000 1.8L but it seems there are alot more 2.0Ls around.

What's this iceman intake? I heard that it retains the stock airfilter box or something close to it? I haven't heard much about it.
