affordable lsd?
hey i remember when my wife had her sunfire ( shhhhh ) a friend of mine purchased a lsd from a company called phantom grip well after checking into they make lsd's for the protege ( auto or manual ).. just wondering if somebody has used this for the protege cause i want to order one soon..let me know thanks guys
to add onto this i just called a dealer for the phantom grip lsd and what he said is for the money you cant beat it, he said upgrade to the extreme lsd for $379..basically what i got back is " it works like a 1.5 lsd and he said that when doing a burnout ( waterbox, etx. ) you wont get perfect dual tire plants , but it will not be anything really noticable. no real big pulling or torque steer. i think it sounds good and my friend never had any issues w/ the product. ..

Phantom Grip is a piece of junk. Think about it like this:
They retail this "limited slip" for $299. It probably costs about $15 to make. If it was worth a crap EVERY fwd car made would have one of these in them from the factory.
I've known several people to blow their trannys using the PG.... SHO owners (g-series trannies like ours) and protege owners.
Stay away. Put that $300 down towards a Quaiffe and when you do you'll sleep better knowing your tranny won't grenade next time you downshift.
