Ah-ha! I am also a UCD school boy too... Woohoo!!! I met a Pro owner. Hehe!!!
Maybe you could check out AutoMax at Oakland, 45 minutes drive from Davis. I saw a bunch of cars on the road with AutoMax advertised license plate, you could grab their number from there.
Otherwise, it is on 12th Street at Oakland.
I went there once and they seem to did a pretty good job recovering my car, and this is the cheapest place I found around Bay Area too... Luck!

Hi, I am a painter at a body shop up in Canada. I will give you some advice on picking a shop to fix your car. Look in the phone book and pick at least 4 or 5 shops and go to each and get estimates from all and ask to see their shop. If the shop is clean and tidy then chances are so is their work. Look at some of the cars they have painted, make sure your satisfied before you pick the shop to fix your car.
Good Luck !!!

same thing happened to me today!
instead of opening another thread, i just wanted to revive this one...
anyway, i go into class and when i come out... BAM! there it is. right front fender over the wheel well is scratched. looked at the bitchass car next to me but couldn't find my paint anywhere on it although it was REAL close to my car. oh well... can't do anything about it now. no paint on their car=no proof they did it. it sucks cause i'm too poor for a new paintjob. probably going to retouch it somehow. it's not extremely bad, but it's an eyesore especially on the midnight blue. it's just this big whitish mark over my wheel well. damn! but i got an A on my o-chem test! woohoo!

I now have a nice 3 inch stripe of paint off the back corner of my bumper because my new parking spot is very difficult to get out of and, in my first night of parking there I misjudged the space available when backing out and kissed the sunfire behind me. Boo .. I think I may just touch it up for now.
