Unhappy Alt noise???

Hey Guys!

JUst a little question? How good is the grounds on the stock sterio? I just instaled a new deck and amp with some subs and speakers. But im getting an alt whine? I have checked everything!!!! Used 4Gauge wire grounded to the chasis and ran the power on the drivers side and the RCA on the other. But i cant seem to get rid of the noise!!!!

Any help would be great!!!

Thanks..

Tom

Is your amp grounded at the same point as your stereo? The stock ground is poor - it has resulted in a technical bulletin to be issued by Mazda: some stock CD players won't eject CDs occasionally. The service performed is to use a better ground strap. I've rerouted mine directly to the neg terminal, and no problems since.

If that doesn't work, you may need to go to a filter. I noticed you've kept your power and grounds apart from one another - good boy.
