Anyone have an MP5 with leather?

I just ordered a yellow MP5 with black leather and was wondering if anyone has one with leather. All the dealers told me that it was just added to the list of options this month. I couldn't find anyone with one in stock.

I've had leather for the last 3 years and now that I'm returning my current vehicle (1999 GMC Jimmy) due to the lease expiring I didn't want to go back to cloth.

My car won't be here until sometime in May. That sure seems like a long time to wait, but I guess I don't have a choice.

Yeah,

I have the Katskinz leather kit in mine (black with Silver perforated centers)...they are exceptional quality, very soft leather. It was an extra $1400 tho...but since I didn't get the polished wheels or ABS, it came out to the same price.

I don't know what kinda leather will come in them as a factory option, but I am sure it will be nice....bet you can't wait!

Where you from in Ohio??? I am in Cincinnati...

I've seen a P5 here in Vancouver, that a dealership had done up, in leather. Needless to say it looked SHWEET! The center was grey, and the sides were black. It had the words Protege5 (the logo) sewed in the middle on the top. Looks so wild. They said it was around $2000 to get it done (canadian pricing).

Thorman,

I did not have leather as an option, but I did get leather through my dealer when I purchased the car. Trust me the leather is worth the wait. The interior of the car looks ten times better than without IMOP. I think that you will be glad you went with the option.

Thanks for all the replies. One of the dealerships I went to told me that leather was a $1500 option, needless to say I didn't get my car there. It's only an extra $400 and well worth it in my opinion. Once you have leather you never want to go back to cloth.

I'm looking forward to getting my car in May. I can't believe it takes 8 weeks to get the car. That sure seems like a long time.

Double D-I'm in North Canton.

The quality is unsurpassable! They are seriously the nicest leather I have seen in a car. Very soft and durable, and the quality of the stitching is "A" Class.

I highly recommend these seats, they are def worth the extra $$$$!

GO FOR IT or you will yourself in the head
