Question Anyone hear about the RAMPOD lately?

About a month ago I read a post about a new intake system for the 1.6L's The company is Uniflow and the setup is called the Rampod. Has anyone heard any new information about this product? I would rather get one of these than the INJEN. Let me know.

Zgrieger>>>i think your best bet will be to stick with the injen....cause from what i hear from frosty now....the rampod is crap.

his maf sensor got filter oil all over it and he had to get the maf replaced.

im not sure if the reason behind this is because his pod was one of the original ones used for testing purposes (they have slightly changed the adapter plate since) or because the whole pod has not been designed properly from the beginning

Frosty got rid of the pod..replaced with the k&n panel filter...modified the airbox...and he got 8kw more atw!

so...who knows..maybe the panel is the go..that way at least u know ur maf is safe..

sorry about the late info bro...ive been lazy lately

zgrieger, i emailed uniflow about a month ago, and talked to a guy over there about it. he said it would be available mid-march.. which would be a couple weeks ago. you might head over to http://www.uniflow.com.au/ and see if it's listed, or just drop them an email from their website. he said it would cost $145 shipped to the u.s. in the email i got. ;| i don't know if that price is what it is now.
