P5 has different bulbs, but it seems to me that both sedans and P5s burn drivers side a little faster. Search the forum, there is some crap written about it.

I've tried Eurolites, Hyper and NGtec bulbs for the past 2 years. The Eurolites seem to last the longest but I have not noticed what you seem to be telling me. I've had both the passenger and driver side burn out.

I had only 1 bulb burnt out so far: Blue SilverStars. It lasted a little under a year with a lot of night driving. So I can't say that it is a problem with me. I'll wait for a year and will see what happens with clear silver stars.

the Silverstars are only rated at 150 hours while the Sylvania HL bulbs are rated at 850 hours. So expect to replace them quite often.

also make sure you are wearing some sort of latex glove when you install them to keep the oil off your hand from getting on the bulb. the oil will cause it to overheat and go prematurely.

Thumbs up

I had Silverstars on my p5 for 2 months before they blew. Passenger side went first then driver side soon after. Got tired of replacing them so i switched to Philips all weather bulbs. With the silverstars it was a pain in the backside driving in wet and rainy conditions. Now with the all weathers it is much much better. They (all weathers) are awesome in my opinion. I got mines from www.autolamps-online.com.

I will try to get some pics up.
