MINTBLUE

We are putting together a group buy in Toronto for other MINTBLUE parts. If anyone is interested please e-mail me @ protege5girl@hotmail.com

http://www.mintblue.co.jp

Don't mean to step on any toes, but if we go through the US we will be paying duty twice.

Sondra,

Please start your own thread. I pay to be here and don't need any confusion to be generated. You should start your thread in the Canadian section where it's suitable to your community.
For those Canadians who want their stuff now, I am your only solution.

We'll be receiving this product next week if interested please call us. The quantities are very limited. Prices reflected are a result of getting authentic product made in Japan. I don't make crap off this stuff but choose to bring it in for those who want the prestige of owning JDM parts.

Thanks, Rishie

Glad to hear that you don't make crap off of these parts and are only doing this, I would imagine, out of the goodness of your heart.

I am curious as to why, since the last post in which you actually answered someones question about the products, 6 or so questions have been asked and the only post you make is to Sondra who was only looking out for her fellow Canadians.

Lets get real here. You are doing this for a profit, big or small its still for the $$$. Wouldn't it better serve your pocket to actually reply to the questions of those who are interested in your products than to the few that may have a negative impact on your bottom line? I realize that my first post was looked at as being negative but as i stated in that post that it was not my intent.

You have enlightend me on how these forums work. I was under the impression that they were here for people to give and receive information but now I know that all this is, is the "Protege Shopping Mall".

Easy there, I know Rishie can defend himself but i can tell you are new. First rishie is a stand up guy always hooking this forum up with info and things that are more difficult to come across. Obviously he is a business man so im sure he is takin care of his end. On a side note there are many ways ppl can contact each other ie, emails, private messages besides posting them here. Ive dealt with Rishie a couple of times and hes been nothing but a nice guy.

u know... I think if some guy like rishie had the time and made all the effort into organizing the buy so that other people could get products..... why not let him gain a few bucks from it? I would like to organize a group buy and sell products to u guys but one, I don't have all the money to buy half a dozen of each of the parts and then sell them back out and plus I don't have the time for it....
so lets all give him the credit whether he is make any money or not from this thing.

Let me be clear here. I am sure Rishie is a good upstanding guy. And after his response to my first reply letting me know that his products were better than the knock offs of the lesser companies i became interested in a few of his products. But yet he doesn't seem to have the time to answer my additional questions and the 5 or so questions others have posted about his products. But yet he has the time and makes the effort to tell Sandra where she should be posting.

And for that matter, maybe I am a "newbie" but I can still read. If you want to get all technical about it, Rischie chose this forum to start so why should I be worried about the 100 other ways to contact a person.

Also, I just thougth it was way rude to tell some one else where they should or shouldn't post. I read the entire forum home page and if you wanted to get all techinical about it This thread should have been started in the "parts for sale " under the classifieds forum.
This forum doesn't specify that it is US only, only that it is for general discussion of the 3rd gens. At the bottom of the home page it breaks down different areas of the US, Canada etc...

Ok, I agree with both sides of the story here. I'm really not trying to get involved, but reading Rishie's original post again, he was a little harsh on Sondra. Not in what he said, but just how he said it. I still however agree that he does have the right to make a small profit, however he should not prevent others from doing the same like he did with Sondra. If the quantities are so"limited" why then are you asking close to two pages of buyers if they'd like one? I'd think they'd be sold by now...

In any case, Rishie has some, and if you'd like them now, all the power too you. I however will stick with Sondra. I'm sure that by eliminating the US customs from the equation, we could get much cheaper pricing.

Rishie, please just try to be courteous in the way you say things. I'm sure you meant well, but it just came out wrong. We're all human, and as such err. I am by no means an expert on "forum ettiquette" but I do know business sense. That says; you should look after your existing customers just as well if not better than prospective new ones. I agree with the fact that you didn't look after "existing" customer's questions, but tried to keep the monopoly instead. It's all good, but I just thought that you might want a little pointer.

With that said, I'll return to my studies.

I haven't seen any of the autoexe items...I hear the grill looks awesome...but i can't find a web site...noone has told me that there isn't a web site yet, so I'm still asking =). Actually, I've seen the front lip from autoexe, and i like it, but it isn't worth all that money to me, for the prot5 already has a nice "body kit" on it, and the autoexe kit only extends it down an inch or so it seems heh. I would still like to see the rear spoiler (though I will probably not like it), and the grill!

For one,

I am too busy now to attend to the forum everyday. Please give us a call and I can take care of things. SEan, Wheelguuru, is in charge of keeping me updated verbally with stuff on the forum.

WE DON'T MAKE **** FROM THESE PARTS. I get the minimum amount needed for me to get a small discount on the items to absorb some of the shipping and duties on these parts. I order a certain quantity so I can get them for myself as I'm an avid user of JDM parts. I enjoy the quality, prestige, and rarity.

In terms of Sondra, I am sorry if it was written harshly. I was just being brief. I made arrangements with a friend/associate of hers last week and he'll be able to take care of the duties for the CANADIAN shipments as he has a broker.

THERE WILL BE NO DUTIES GOING TO EASTERN CANADA. I REPEAT THE ABOVE STATEMENT. IF YOU WANT THEM YOU're in the clear. MY pricing will not change, but shipping and duties will be much less.

PARTS/SALE doesn't get enough daily traffic to warrant me placing the add there. Plus these products are specific to third gens.

I make a lot more money dumping thousands of dollars into parts available in the US than I do on these JApanese parts.

Here's some links:

http://www.autoexe.co.jp/car/newsport-01/01.html
http://www.mintblue.co.jp/familia/sport20/sport20.html

BTW, I have a shop with walkin business. That takes up alot of my time. We don't even have a website. I'm simply here because I've had diffiulty getting parts for my Protege and have the qualfications/resources to help others get what I want. The choice is yours.

I make no money on these and have very limited quantities. That's why it's so important to free up my funds as quickly as possible so I can put them in products which do make me a profit. This is for all those people who are going to competitions and need a slight edge. You get what you pay for.

I apologize for any misinterpretations of my words. hehe.

Later, Rishie

Please call if you want to ensure your placement on the waitlist.

I don't know how the lids adhere until I get my first set. I am sure that they mount very well as I have absolute confidence in Japanese engineering.

Thanks, Rishie

I believe all the other questions were answered in my previous statements.

Someone should write a book on forum etiquette. Just seems like common sense to me. If anyone in the future needs to place an ad please do so in your own thread as it will get more publicity. I'm not trying to be a dick, just trying to help. I don't understand why someone would want to post it in my thread. It's not seen on the front page.

FYI, I was not placing an "AD", therefore I didn't feel it was necessary for me to start a whole new thread. I was merely stating that if someone wanted mintblue parts other than what you were offering that we were planning a group buy here in Toronto. I was not trying to take away any potential customers from you.

Rishies prices are fair, he is not overcharging, I am getting a grill from him. If he had spoilers, and bumpers I'd probably get that through him as well. (As long as I won't be paying duty twice )

I didn't take offense to his post, I didn't realize he was paying to post if I had known I would have started another thread.

Now, can't we all just get along?

Sondra you are so cool. Thanks. Gotta a picture of yourself with your car? I'd like to see a potential hottie next to the same car I own. hehe. I hope that wasn't shovenistic. I'm trying to be careful with what and how I write. I just rarely get to see female auto enthusiasts. Especially MAZDists.

Thanks for understanding. Well you definitely got backup from fellow forum peeps.

Thanks,
Rishie

Damn...I really like the look of the autoexe stuff...not really the grill though. It's rather plain. The spoiler is very nice looking and after relooking at the front lip, I like it too. Only problem is, it's not $400 good (plus shipping, plus painting, plus installation). If I had money to just throw around, I'd do it, but for now, I'll just be satisfied with wheels and lowering kit (when I get them)...as well as some interior coloring.
