Baby seat Q..what?
Okay, my daughter has outgrown her newborn seat.
I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if they tried any infant seats that didn't fit in the back (preferably a sedan).
I will be installing mine in the reverse facing position for a while still.
I'd just like to avoid making 5 purchases and returns because the damn things were designed for a family of 4 in a Chevy Suburban !

I have a P5, and I haven't had problems with the forward facing seats, that fit children weighing between 20 lbs and 60-80lbs. My friend has a Malibu, and he has never had a problem fitting rear or forward facing car seats in the back seats... it doesn't seem as though you should have a problem... however why not save some money and car seats, and buy one that will suit from 20lbs to 60-80lbs? That way you only go through one more car seat, and then if anything, a booster seat...

Well, IMO no seat fits well in a rear facing position, but
the rear seat room was one of the reasons I bought the Pro
I brought our seat in the show room and test fitted it........
I was impressed, not nearly as bad as some cars.
I however have a P5, not sure if the rear seat room is the same.

I do know the style of seat with the table on it that flips over the child's head won't work...it hits the quarter pillar trim panel in the forward facing position.
My wife dosen't want that style anyways.
I was using the small seat that doubles as a carrier and also fits our stroller, but my daughter is almost as long as the seat so I have to make a purchase soon...I wish she'd fit into the booster that looks like a racing seat with 5-pt harness...those are cool!

at the beginning of the year we had a 02 lx (then traded for the p5). anyway when we got the lx the baby was 2 months and the other was 16 months and both the carseats (1 forward and 1 rear) worked great. now they are both in forward facing seats and the only problem is when you have a very tall 2 year old they like to kick the seat no matter how far you are on the windshield.
