Bike Tray
Does anyone out there have a bike tray (fork mount or upright) for the factory P5 roof rack that they are willing to part with? Otherwise, what kind should I be looking for? I think the factory roof rack is made by Yakima? Thanks!

I have the thule velo vise 889 rack with two trays... both fork mount.. it works well but the hatch does hit the rear of the tray when opened.. I haven't found any shorter trays.. and there is a lot of wind noise

velo vise 889 rack... thanks i will look into that. not so excited about the hatch hitting the tray or the wind noise, but I just want it so that when I go mountain biking in the spring/summer (forget about it during the winter here) I can put it on and take it off. thanks again!

We did not have a factory rack so we used the full bike rack.
Highly recommend the Thule 889/Velo-vise rack system as it's fully lockable. You may have to _slightly_ bend the clamping tabs to get a tighter fit along the door-frame curves, but ours is SOLID and does NOT generate wind noise/whistles(tested to 90mph)
If you place the rack suitably forward you will NOT have any interference with the hatch.
You can also get a basket/tray set up in between the bike troughs to place muddy wheels in.
Our goal with the P5 was to make a fun/economical dog/bike car.
This set-up works!
If we ever get a digital cam I'll post a pic.
