I want them!

I have the Laser Blue P5 and from the pictures I have seen on here the blacked out headlights on the P5s look great.

For my fellow P5 owners north of the border, any ideas on costs from dealers in Canada, and possibilities to have them shipped to the U.S.?

Thanks!

200 degrees for 7-10 minutes is not long enough to melt the plastic, just heat up the glue to make is 100 times easier and faster to open them. I did that to my Si lights and my Jetta lights. CivicRacerEXR, sup bro

Leme ask my buddy at the Mazda Parts Counter, and find out the cost on the lights.

I think I found the part #s to the new headlights. They don't tell me whether they're black or not in the parts catalog, but give them a try:

BP4F-51-0L0 left
BP4F-51-0K0 right

I really think they are the part numbers though, because I checked an old July/01 Protege microfiche and they come up as completely different part numbers.
Okay so I called my Mazda parts guy and YES these are the correct part numbers for the black headlights for the 2003 P5 as available on the Canadian version.

The cost is $382.61 EACH. I think I will live wth my chrome ones and spend the money on springs.

Cool, I checked with Mazda today as well, but he said his computer wasn't updated yet with the 2003 parts... He said he would look into it tho...
