you really cant void the warranty on the car without major negligence...however the is the answer you are probably looking for...she is talking out of her ***....if you replace the stock head unit however and the new head unit or any part of your install damages any other component of the car it will not be covered under warrantee...thats how it works...the dealer must prove that your modification caused the failure to deny a warranty claim

So for some reason I never really got a clear reason for my first few questions.....SO is 13800 good price for 03 brand NEW LX with side air bags automatic power evereything + Cd player. And can i add the Syntheic oil @ 1k miles ?anybody else try adding a LCD on a Protege? any suggestions ANy LUCK?

$13,800 is a good price for an LX with those features, actually most all LX's come with standard power everything. I looked at Corollas, Focuses, but I was sold on the Protege after seeing how many standard features there were included in the LX package, and at $13,400 delivery price I couldn't argue a bit. Mine came with all power options, 15" alloy wheels, low profile 55 series Bridgestones, cruise, tilt, cargo net in trunk, etc. I wouldn't mess with the Mobil 1 though, I took my ride in for the 1st oil change last month, and inquired about it too and the service manager said to stick to regular 5W30(I live in Michigan, cold climate needs thinner oil).

13800 is with 6% NJ sales tax. The car includes ABS+ Side aribags with Cd player all other things are standard such as Alloy wheels and power everthing. This is a Auto not a manual so I think its a good deal but then again this was my first NEW car buying exp....So I might be wrong.

 

yeah I live on the island, I bought my mazda in hempstead and the service on the island all-around is great.
