Brake light

i have a 03 MP5, and the brake light on my dash is on, wen im driving. The same light thats on, wen the e brake is on. Have any of u guys experienced that? I dont feel anything different, like the brakes acutally being applied wen im driving, its jus on. I havent done anything to the brakes, or the suspension, the car is pretty much stock. cud it be electronic, i have a deck and subwoofer, but they were installed professionally at Best Buy. thanks for any responses

i have a similar thing that goes on every once in a while with my 02 MP5. I havent figured out what causes it, but if it is on, if you pull the e-brake, then release it, the light usually goes off and doesnt come back one. It never did anything (brake was never engaged) so i usually ignored it and it would go off in a couple minutes.

Have you checked the brake fluid level?

Ugh, it usually means your pads are getting low, unless you have a leak somewhere. The first thing you should do is check your fluid level. Because the pads are wearing down you may need to add a little.
Then, check your pads as soon as possible.
