Angry broken fog lights on P5

have any of you fellow P5 owners had your fog lights plastic lense break??? The other day i noticed the fog lights on my 02 have broken bits of plastic inside the lens... they still work.

I want to mainly find out if other have had the same problems or if something happened to mine.

The P5's foglights are actually glass. A rock probably struck the face of it and damage similar to a BB strike resulted.

check out http://www.xpel.com That will help explain what everyone is talking about.

This film is the cheapest insurance against broken lights and stone chips on paint that I have ever seen.

I used silicone to repair it then upgraded the bulbs to 100 Watt and increased the wire size.

Go back to the stock wattage. Even though you psized the wires, you'll still end up melting something. My buddy did the same as you, and his was PHUCKED! If you want higher wattage, you have to upgrade everything between the blub and switch. Simple as that...
