Bug Deflector
#3
Thanks for the reply. However, I wouldn't deal with mazda of Wooster if they were the only dealer left on the planet. They are about 30min. from me and are the ones who tried to charge me a doc fee on one of the employee plans I got from work when I bought my car. They are crooks. No, I am not the only one---they tried doing it to three other people that I know of too.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,

Anyone else for a suggestion? I called two Mazda dealers and they said they don't even make one
I sent them the link that lxpony sent me and they told me since it wasn't a Mazda part that I wouldn't have a warranty. Who cares. You get one with the bug guard anyway.
Sooooo, any other suggestions?

Not to be rude. However, go look at my second post in this thread---the third one down. Notice how I don't like "MAZDAOFWOOSTER?" That's the same folks selling what you have in your link. I wish they hadn't treated myself, and three others that I know of, so horribly as their price is at least decent---shipping isn't though.
Oh well. I can't belive that I have seen about 10 of them on peoples cars on this board and not one of them has chimed in. I am going to start searching for people who have them and PM them.

There is no 'official' Mazda accessory hood deflector, so some dealers have probably just not bothered to source one themselves. I told my dealer I wanted a hood deflector and they installed one that says Form Fit on it. Looks like the same one in the link that lxpony posted. I have pictures of it on a silver P5.

So what was the pricing? I have a hard time paying $70 for it when I can get one for a truck for $40. I understand supply and demand---it just seems crazy when you add shipping to the price too.
Oh well----still open for suggestions.

There arent any other suggestions, get the one from my link or buy it from Wooster....
It's nice to see you had a nice experience with Mazda of Wooster. However, they are crooks and you got lucky or just fortunate to only deal with the parts department.

Hey, your post didnt iritate me, I am the one with the deflector and am happy with it
As an aside, I also bought the Mazda cargo tray from Wooster at the same time and called and complained that they wanted to charge me $10.00 extra for the S&H on that one plus the $15 for the deflector. I complained and they wavied the fees for the tray. I guess you had a bad experience, but mine was very pleasant with Wooster
