Can almost stalls when idling

hmm, new PCV you say? maybe thats the key...i just put a new one in mine, and the roughness is just about gone.
Its a quick simple install for those of you who havent done it. Just go to your local auto part store, ask for the PCV valve for your year and everything, then its under the hood, just behind the valves. its a little plastic elbow piece, connects to like 3 little hoses. its only a couple bucks, I'd recommend trying it.

Car almost stalls out when idling
Has anyone come up with a fix for stalling? I am still having the same problem-dealer wont do anything because there’s no error code. Someone mentioned TBS for injector spray pattern but how do I look this up? Another guy talked abut alternator. Does anyone have a solid fix?
This seems to be a wide spread problem. There must be someone that had this problem and got it resolved.

I just ran into this problem on my Pro5 after it sat for 2 weeks. the CEL light came on and Diags show the EGR valve stuck open. I brought it to the dealer which did yet another check and they also said I have a misfire. Coil, wires and valve are all on order, we'll see soon.
One question though. I've had "Detonation" "knocking" "pinging" whenever the engine has been under stress, IE going up a hill, AC on and accelerating. Though, it's tough to catch the sound as it's intermittant and seems to have to have a barrier to reflect the sound off of to hear. I've had the issue since I bought the car, but have been told that they either don't hear it or I'm using bad gas and step it up to Plus or higher. They done NOTHING to diagnose the issue. SINCE, i've been in the dealer and they now tell me that the pipes going to the EGR valve may be clogged with carbon if I've been using the higher test gas.
I know they're covering something up and feel i'm going to be stuck with the repair bill since the car's at 58k mi.
I've got a long list of other things that have not been investigated due to intermittance and don't occur with the degree of severity the technicians think warrants their time. I've been told they can only tear down a car if it's an obvious problem. Forget preventative maintenance. They tell me to wait until the problem constantly occurs. In this case, it's rendered my car undriveable for a week and a half because the parts are on BACKORDER. I'll have to continue this in another Thread...
