You get what you pay for.

If you don't want to change out your shocks, get Ground Control.

well i had a pair of lowering springs but it was such a hassle to get them put on so i just sold them. im looking to get something for my car soon but i cant decide. im getting an injen cai for christmas so that is crossed off my list. im debating between tint, twm short shifter, or either a muffler or like a new system altogether. im having trouble finding a high flow cat for a good price that is 2.25", most that i find are 2.5. i can get the rest custom made im guessing or just go ahead and buy the whole thing somewhere. let me know what yall think i really appreciate it.

Man, it seems that nobody here realizes that Skunk2 makes AWESOME coilovers for the Protege. And they ARE better than GC's because of the spring rate and dual-locking collars vs the allen head lock.

Oh by the way,

Anyone have spring rates and such for this car?

You don't HAVE to, but they'll wear out really fast if you lower it past stock position. The stock struts/shocks were designed to operate like they are now.
