Man I gotta stop hanging at the other forums, come back here and have a look and it's flame war time. Boosted, did you expect people not to be pissed off when every post is I'm so great, look at what I've got, etc. etc?

"i don't own a pro, but since i now run the board i can use it for leverage to get free parts for a car that's not as good as what i currently own"

damn you make me feel so special man... so good about myself for owning a pro...

i'm glad we have someone who really cares on top

do me a favor.. remind us again. what made you qualified to admin a "club" for proteges? becuase Jason said you could? you have such great "plans" for this forum.. on what basis can you say you even care about the Proteges when you don't understand the benefits of owning one?

it's not an attack, personal or otherwise. it's a fair question.

bottomline: THIS FORUM IS THE RED-HAIR STEPCHILD OF THE ALMIGHTY JASON AND HIS RX-7 AFFILIATIONS

now doesn't that make you Protegeclub members feel special?

Tell me how I did that? I was simply stating the fact, which is that I have a position with some influence ... but only due to the fact that I've busted my *** on rx7club.com since 1996. So you're gonna hate on me because I'm trying to cash in on some of that effort?

I'm obviously not about image, or I wouldn't even consider trading the M3 in on a Protege. And I wouldn't be so dedicated to Mazda in the first place. I've always liked Protege's ... especially over the last few years. And I'd LOVE to further support Mazda. I just need some questions asked first. If you're attitude can't handle that, then don't reply.

I'm not qualified to admin the club, I know nothing about it's owners. But I have invited people from here to our RX-7 meets in the past and have had a whopping 0 people show up. So don't tell me I haven't made any effort. What I am qualified to do, is admin and build the website so that you, the members, can help the club grow. And maybe, if I get a Mazdaspeed, then I'll be a part of the club too.

I don't get the attitude. Jason pays to keep the site online, he paid for a new vB liscense to upgrade it. He just hasn't had time to develop new apps for it. But now that I'm taking over all that, it will change. You guys will be on our new monster server cluster within 2 weeks. We have new apps being developed with the plan to use them for rx7club, rx8club, AND protegeclub. Sure, you have been somewhat ignored in the past, but that will change. Just stop being so pessimistic, there's no reason for it. If you want to see change, then be positive, or maybe even offer to help. We have good intentions.

My god, you guys are like a bunch of women ... just waiting for me to say the wrong thing. Then picking one line out of 3 paragraphs.

So you're going to tell me that a Progege ... or a Civic, or any other car in it's class, carries the same 'image' as a BMW M3 Convertible? I don't give a **** about that, I just want a car that's engaging to drive. Geez ...

HAHA, dude, why do you INSIST on repeatedly shooting yourself in the foot? i mean, man, it's amusing to watch, but everything you say degrades our car... i don't think you get it, bro
the protege is VERY engaging.. to US..
WE LOVE OUR CAR. it's what we bought... it's "our" m3. it's OUR ferrari.. it's the car WE love.

Protege's just ain't your bag. there's nothing wrong with saying so.. but at least fess up and admit it. i don;t even understand the motivation of Jason and you for RUNNING this board. there's many other clubs already for this car. why even run it? you don;t love the car, what's the motivation? by your own admission, there's other "more worthy" vehicles you can be running a board for......

i mean, why us?

the reason is right there, on the upper right hand corner of this page, next to the Protege Club logo.....

ever wonder why that's the ONLY vendor that's been listed on this forum

it's all about $$$$$$$$$$$$ for these guys

Hey! Some of us actually DO buy only Mazdas and no Eurotrash BMWs. I guess my Ford Exploder is almost a Mazda too.
