Crooked steering wheel

Hey guys,

Quick question... The other day I noticed my steering wheel is slightly off of center to the right when driving straight ahead. The car tracks perfectly straight on flat roads. So is this something that is considered an alignment issue, or are crooked steering wheels corrected some other way? Basically what I'm trying to get at is if this would be considered a warranty issue after the 12,000 mile alignment period.

Thanks

sorry, after 12k you'll have to pay out of your own pocket to do alignments (which includes re-centering the steering wheel)

I had the same problem in my car (off center steering wheel, and perfectly straight driving) It took less than two minutes for the alignment guy to fix by turning something (bolts maybe?) on both sides under the car (without even installing the laser things for the alignment).

I couldnīt get to see what he turned though. Good thing is that it was so easy that he didnīt charge anything. An alignment job shouldnīt be necessary if the car already tracks perfectly straight.
