current prices on 02 ES/LX/DX?

Hi all, I'm in the market to trade in my 93 ES. Are there good deals to be had right now on 2002 models? Is it last year's model yet? How much lower than sticker are people getting?

Thanks for any help!

Phil

There was a $1500 rebate, but it was supposed to end on the 8th. They also have 0% financing for 5 years I think. I picked my ES up on the 3rd for $2600 under msrp. Thats including the rebate.

Hmm, too bad I missed the rebate. Sounds like you got a good deal--thanks for the data!

Since it is getting to be that time of year, I bet that the $1500 rebate, if expired, will be revived again shortly. By the way, I picked up my silver 02' ES with sunroof (MSRP $16650) for $14500 after $1500 rebate.

I just purchased mine ES for 17,422 without tax. Every option except 6 CD in dash changer. I didn't take the rebate.

When I took the 0% financing for 60 months, I was told the financing and rebate would still be vaild until 9-3-02.

Good Luck.

I just purchased an 02 Protege5. In between the time I was looking and the time I bought, the rebate plans changed. The 0% for 60 months (48 months on Protege5) is good until 9/3 here. They also have a $750 rebate on Protege5's but I believe it's larger for sedans. You can't get the rebate and 0% financing together. I opted for the 0%/48 months and made a decent down payment.

It's probably worth it to weigh your payment options either way. I still got a decent discount off of sticker price on my car.
