Dealer Report Card

Dealer Report Card
Did anyone who has purchased a new pr5 or any Mazda for that matter, in the last couple of months, have to fill out a Dealer Report Card? My dealer is bullying me into writing a stellar report even though I feel they don't deserve one. I want to know also if the report card is anynomous. Because I am planning on writing exactly what I feel and I do not want it getting back them.
I love when these dealers screw up and then act like they are doing YOU a favor by fixing it. And then throw this report card in your face saying "just fill it out with all top marks for us, ok. If you don't, it will make our lives more difficult and we don't want that do we?" I F%^&@ hate car dealers!!!

No they are NOT, read through some of the other threads here of people's experiences with the cards. My jacka$$ salesman told me that my car came with floormats and talked to me like I was an idiot when I said it didn't. He said I was wrong cause "this is a NEW car of course it come with floor mats" and said if it didn't he would buy me a set. Ok, well right before we got ready to drive away I asked him about it and he just laughed. Guess what's going on his report card... I'd be honest with it and screw them if they don't like it.

When I bought my new P5 eight weeks ago, the survey wasn't even mentioned to me. They never told me to expect it in the mail nor to answer it a certain way. So I answered it as honest as I could.
It is true that it is not anonymous; just ask one of the guys on this board or one of the other Protege boards...he got called up and harassed by his salesman for answering it how he felt.
If you feel pushed by the salesman to answer it a certain way, just notify the dealership's general manager and Mazda customer service.

Honesty is the only true medicine if you feel like you were treated unfairly and in a demeaning manner. If you look each survey is coded with a number and the sales associates id tags.
As stated, answer the questions, if you get harassed...call the manager and state that you can not recommend business to them if they treat buyers in this manner...heck you might even get some free stuff out of them.

I filled my survey in honestly, and it was not all positive. My dealer is the old time, screw you at every turn type. They had a great showroom, but sold Mazdas out of their used car lot. The office there had old car parts laying around, 30 year old desks and chairs, etc. As the survey asks about the dealership in general, I downgraded their rating for this.
The survey goes directly to the sales person - with your name. I believe the sales person gets a bonus if they get all perfect scores. I got a call from my sales guy, and he had all the scores from the survey I sent in.
As a typical sales person, he told me that all the impressions I had were wrong and that he had done a great job. So much for trying to improve!!
I have only one Mazda dealership in my town, so I will have to use them for any needed warranty work. Knowing that Mazda gives the dealership all your information, including your name, I wouldn't have even filled out the survey. I don't want to have a bad relationship with someone I may need for service down the road. For all I know, my comments might be on the Service department's record.
I did just take my Protege in for an oil change & tire rotation at the dealership, and they treated me very well. When I got the paperwork on the service done, there was a notice that I would be getting a survey from Mazda on my experience & if I could not mark them highly to notify the local service managers before filling out the survey.
I think I'm done monitoring the sales and service outlets for Mazda. I'm not getting paid by Mazda for being their quality control person in the field, and they don't keep my identity confidential. I don't need some pissed off guy in the Service department making decisions about whether something is covered under warranty if he thinks I'm the guy that caused him to miss his Christmas bonus for the year.
In my opinion, Mazda has missed the point of customer feedback. Dealers are pimping customers to skew survey results and customers are learning that it isn't beneficial to them.

I can't even rely on the dealer manager, because she told me to fill it out all positive as well. I am just not going to do it and say I never got it. If it is not anynomous then I am not doing it. I ahve enough problems with telemarketers and the like to give more info to people I do not know and do deserve my info.
It is like Tom Slick posted. I spent $17000 on a car and I owe them a favor? Get the F*&&% out of here!
