Did you know this paint problem?
Hey. A little warning: I took my rear license plate off today to fix a rattle caused by the black LP holder. Anyways, so I took off the holder and underneath, there were two dents and mared points from the LP screws. Just a heads up. I am taking my P5 to the dealership tomorrow to complain. (The LP screws are just too long, not to mention they should be nylon) ((LP=License Plate, in case you don't know))

Yeah, I noticed that a while ago when I put in my new plates for the car. I bought some shorter screws and just used some touch-up paint that they gave me in the welcome package and fixed the scratched area.
I guess that's why they give you that touchup paint
Too lazy to biatch about it. Besides, I'm pretty sure they will put touch-up paint on it as well. Well, I guess at least you don't need to buy your own screws.
Let us know how it goes.

LOL, yea, i tried to remedy that problem the day i got my perm plates, and I cut the screws too short and for now my plate is zip tied to the bracket! LOL!
I need to take the whole thing off. Then use some 3m molding adhesive tape so that it sticks to the gate, and not just flop around on there.
Man, talk about a BAD plate mount design!
