Discouraged Protege Owner

I don't know if this has been said before, but with the paint, that's a common problem among LOTS of cars nowadays.
With my 01 Celica, people complained a lot and called toyota and they told us that new laws have been passed so the amount of lead allowed in car paint is less, so it's less durable and thick. It's probably the same with plenty of cars if not all.

I have my Protege 5 since june 01, don't have any rattles even though it's been lowered almost as soon as I got it. As for paint-I didn't even bother to get bra a 3M-if it gets too messy I am just going to re-spray it.
few people were blunt but right-it's a econobox, we still got a lot of car for money. You should have selected car which suits your needs and if you do lots of highway driving-get a Crown Vic, drive lots of gravel roads-get puck up truck, don't like squeaky panels-get a plane, ALL cars will have some interior noise, NO matter what the PRICE is-loose change, CD's, gym bags, your drunk buddies, nagging bitch girlfriend...

You need more money apparently - but I don't know if that would fix it. I don't know about the bubblegum and all that, because it sounds like you came to whine about unimportant issues.

More Yugo jokes
What's on the last page of the owner's manual for a Yugo?
Bus Schedule
How do you double the value of the Yugo?
Fill up the gas tank
German car makers test their cars to be air tight by closing a cat in it and seeing if it is still alive after a week. Yugo puts a mouse in theirs and checks the next day to see if it's still there
there were more, and sorry for hi-jacking the thread....

I totally agree, what kind of luxury car did you expect for 15k? And I'm sure you should have had a chance to hear the loud engine noise the first time you test drove it, I sure did. But for 15k... and 0% financing for 5 years and a freaking 6 year warrenty... man I was on that like a virgin visiting the playboy mansion. Toyota, Honda, Nissan... wouldn't have even come close to those kind of prices or financing.
Then again, if your mommy bought your car... you should have done your research buddy. But for the rest of us who are poor college students... fu** i'll live with the $200 a month payments, and worry about a benz when I'm retired.

And then there's this guy who doesn't even read my post before firing one at me.
The car didn't make those noises when I bought it, only later-
I DID do my research before buying.
And lastly, my "mommy" didn't buy my car for me. I bought my car for me... which you would have known had you read my post.
So there.
