Thumbs down Do Protege 5 rotors fit MSP?

New to club.
I am investigating upgrade to drilled & slotted rotors (front & rear) for my MSP and am getting conflicting info from vendors. Different vendors say either;
1. MSP require special order rotors
or,
2. Rotors for 2.0L Protege 5 fit MSP

Does anyone know for sure which is correct?

welcome to the club! check out the vendor section. Roddimus Prime has a GB on Brembo Rotors. but this may help you out
msp/mp3 5-lug rotors can be had on a "your own risk" basis. My supplier says they will not fit, but everything I've seen from mazdas own website says that the front rotors are the same 10.79" as the P5/ES rotors. The rears are SLIGHTLY larger at 11" (a fifth of an inch which is barely noticeable). The only difference between the MSP front rotors and standard rotors are that the MSP/mp3 rotors are "ventilated". They are somewhat hollow in the middle. The rears will have a SLIGHT difference in size. Typically what you see is that when the pad sits on the rotor there is a gap between the pad and the hub and the pad and the outter rim. If this Brembo rotor is a fifth of an inch smaller all it will do is shrink up the extra buffer. Sadly, I'm not able to personally test these on the mp3/msp so I can't promise they will fit. All signs indicate that they will but it is up to you.

2.0 lx rotors wont fit for sure as they are 4 lugs, the ES rotors will fall into the same catagory as the P5

not to mention that my supplier has offered a 30 day refund on un-used rotors if they do not fit your vehicle. They may be installed but not used to test fitment. Hope this helps.

All:
Thanks for the feedback.

Roddimus:
Who is your supplier? What is price for set of front & rears (silver zinc preferred over cadmium), and shipping costs?

Thanks, Ed

Sorry, I did not realize you were a vendor.
It appears you been trying to enlist 10 buyers for some time.
I think I'll continue to hunt around.
Thanks for the info.

Why shop around further? I think I have plenty of buyers to close the GB. I need to hear back from LAMSP and RONI to see if they are in or out. Once I hear from them we should be ready to go.
