ecu up grades?

ecu up grades?

any one know if ther is a plug and play ecu upgrade for fuel air trans ect. that just plugs into the ecu like obd2 scaners for the 3rd gen protege.

None that I'm aware of. The only ECU "upgrade" I would recommend is swapping to the MP3 ECU. Gives ya an extra 10 or so ponies and is a direct swap. Only for manual transmission though.

the mp3 ecu wont work i have an automatic. Have you heard enything obout the jet send in flash they advertize 10+ agross the board. I realy would just like the computer to get the most out of my cai and catback.

Is this for the protege5? Do you swap the p5 ECU with the ECU of a mp3, and it is a direct swap?

As far as I know it's a direct swap. You need to run premium fuel though.

well if you have an MSP you can get a unichip plug and play module.........im saving till i hit the $699 mark to order that piece

LOL, the point of running the MP3 ECU is to have slightly better acceleration in your NA protege without using a standalone.
