Factory fog light install notes

Factory fog light install notes
Just installed the OEM fog lights on my '03 sedan this afternoon and thought I'd post a few notes in case someone needs later on.
1) It's not hard, just take your time
2) There's 2 screws per side holding the bumper to the fender; you might not see the second one unless you look
3) Be careful and tape up the fender, headlight, and bumper where all three meet because they'll likely rub and may chip the paint
4) When removing the bumper, there's a small tab underneath each headlight, just forward of where the fender and bumper meet; you have to kind of lift up and then pull out; BE CAREFUL not to get frustrated and just yank on the bumper or you'll likely break the tab
5) Don't forget to run the harness under the bumper support; you'll see what I mean when you look at the under-side of the bumper
6) You migh have to reverse the plastic mounting clip on the left side; the way I got mine you would have to stretch the wires too far to get it to clip in the way they had it
7) The relay gets installed up under the dash, above the pedal cluster; from the schematic it looks like they're telling you to install it in a much lower position, like at the bottom of the lower panel
That's it for now. Feel free to PM me for any questions. And good luck with the install for anyone who does it.

Just did the install today... No problems of any kind... Took a bit longer because I missed the second (inner) screw holding the bumper to the fender that cthom mentioned... No big deal. Just make sure you have a stubby screwdriver or small hands...
I'm just amazed at the amount of plastic they used behind the bumper...
