good excuse to convert to a "real man" manual transmission, eh?
The price I got on my ES way about $3000 less than all the manuals in the yard. Had been looking at a P5, but couldn't turn down the deal.

I guess the auto had been sitting in the lot for a while.

$13000 for ES auto vs $16000 for P5 5-spd.

The mp3 ecu will advance the timing which in turns smooths the power curve and gives a much more solid power delivery as opposed to your current p5 ecu. It requires the use of mid grade gas (here in the south) but is worth it in my opinion for the driveability increase.

Probably one of the best bang for the buks on the 3rd gen proteges.
i think the mp3 require 93 octane...which is the premium stuff.

Raddimus are you still doing these MP3 reflashes? I live in TN and have gone to Huntsville recently, not sure how far north from you that is, but if it doesnt take a whole long time I could drive my car down like half way or something and meet with you, or if Birmingham isnt too far I will just drive down there, how much would you charge if I did it that way?

As long as your car isn't an automatic and has the 2.0 litre engine, you can use the MP3 ECU. You'll just have to use premium fuel to get the power gains.
