A while back, I had all my dents on the sides of my car removed. I had 3, two on the back passanger doors right on the creases, and one on the top of the door. After they were out, car looked brand new.

Two days later, some *** decides he's gonna swing his freakin' door wide open and dent me.

I hate people.

so don't park by them. Either that, or follow certain parking rules. Here are mine (if I absolutely have to park by someone):

1) No parking by 2-door cars
2) No parking by anything with rust
3) No parking by minivans
4) No parking by anything with a child seat
5) No parking by cart-returns or handicapped spots
6) No parking by anything with a NASCAR sticker on it.

There are more, but the are the main ones.

Those rules all go flying out the window when the cars that you so carefully selected next to you leave and one of the other ones pull up to take its place. My main rule of thumb is to park as far away as possible or take out the "beater" if you know you're going to the mall or the market.

true true... but sometimes I am just so lazy

but to tell you the truth all the dents in my car were not from someone slinging their door open or anything like that.. when my car broke down (after 2 months of having it!!!) the tow truck guy scraped my front bumper on the tow truck bed and it was a huge scratch... that was pretty much it... except yesterday after I called the dealership to get it painted... I opened my door and the wind slinged it onto this piece of wood on our driveway.. lil scratch but they fixed that too!!!

that's just WRONG. there's a reason why handicapped people need to have the extra space.

Yeah even better! Park in the handicap spot when there is no where else to park. So where do you expect a handicap person to park then?

Some people I tell ya........

If I saw you do that I would f*#$ing key the hell out of your car and if my dad was with me I would take his wheelchair out of the back of our van and beat you with it.

I hope you're proud of your little scam. Obviously you are. Some people actually NEED these spots for physical disabilities - your mental one doesn't count.

Oh - and that "pass" you have is like driving with someone else's license. The HC passes are not issued to CARS they are issued to PEOPLE. So if you should happen to get caught using it, it's the same as parking in an HC spot without one - except your grandmother will lose the pass because it'll get taken from you one the spot.

Sorry to flame, dude - but what you're doing is plain wrong. My dad has a handicapped parking pass from having heart surgery a few years ago. He doesn't really need it, and I give him plenty of **** about using it. He can walk just fine, and his heart is stronger than it was 15 years ago. But at least he IS entitled to one, so if he chooses to use it, that's his choice. YOU are NOT entitled to use one.

Knock it off, huh?

I'm disgusted that I am reading this from a fellow Canadian. I agree with Hihoslva, your are mentally handicapped but it doesn't entitle you to using that pass...shame...shame...shame...

Now, back to the topic at hand. That parking far away at the mall doesn't work that well when you get morons that will park all the way out there next to you on purpose!

My buddy picked up a new corvette a few years ago and he parked out far at a grocery store. It was a windy day and as he was in his car to leave he didn't notice a wind propelled grocery cart moving towards his car until it was too late. It nailed his driver side door at pretty good speed.

Dude, I'm not gonna prejudge you about this. Maybe you just don't understand. But, before my father passed away he became really sick (cancer if you must know). My mom who is only maybe 5'1 had to try to carry him out of the car and put him into the wheelchair. Without the bigger parking spaces there's no way to do this. I'm not going to go into it any further. But, IMHO it's a matter of 1) personal integrity and 2) karma (you know, what goes around comes around).
