wow $23 shipped isn't bad at all even if it only BARELY works it's gotta be worth $23. I'd say anyone who dosn't have astrut bar should get that and then if they get serious about suspension should get the GT spec stuff.

p.s. also when you go to install it jack the front of the car up so both front wheels are off the ground...expand that bar as far as you can before it breaks and then lower the car down.

A strut bar helps push both strut towers down to help plant the wheel s a little harder and reduce chasis flex that causes the wheels to lift. By taking the weight off the wheels you can manipulate the strut bar adjustment a little further and thereby make it that much stiffer when you put the pressure back on the shock towers.

are you actually asking that, or are you just being facetious?

If you are really asking that, i gotta say, i have no idea how the two are even remotely related... and would be curious if they even are.... somehow i doubt it though...

The add states that it will only fit a 1.6/1.8 engine, but I was wondering if anyone thinks I can make it fit a 2003 2.0 ES? And to answer the above question, some strut bars mount low and and the cruise control gets in the way of them. You can either raise the bar up with washers or move the cruise control mounting bracket.

I would not suggest adding more than 1-2 washers on the strut brace. If you do decide to do this make sure there are PENTY of threads left for the nuts to tighten onto.

What are my options (inexpensive) ways of getting struts to fit with the cruise control?

Did the 2002 P5 come with a strut bar already attached. I just purchased one and it had a red one already on it. Looks like factory no company sticker or anything. Either that or someone put on a cheap one??

Thanks,
Brad
