Fuel filler nosel
I was just wondering if anyone has had any similar problems and if theres a cheap solution:
Me, i got 99 lazda protege ES and one of my friends gor a 99 mazda 6 and we both have the same problem which is theres something wrong with our fuel filler nosel and its a bitch to fill up, I have to do it really slow and if we do it really fast all the gas i just put in will spill right back out, and if i do it slow it takes me a little over 15 min to fill up my gas tank. Im tired of watching 3 or 4 cars fill up their tanks and leave while im still freezing my *** off getting filled up. I went to mazda dealership and they said it will cost 350 dollars for new filler nosel and who knows how much for installation and no local partstore has them, its something a dealership has to order for me. Any suggestions on how to fix this myself?

Is this something that started since you've owned the car or has it always been this way?
Have you tried just pulling the nozzle back a bit, i.e. don't jam it all the way into the filler tube?
I have a 99LX and I don't have a problem filling it (although I am at a full serve station 99.9% of the time it still does not take more than a few minutes for them to fill it.)
