Gas Millage, what do you usually get to a tank?
having come from a 16g Killer powered Eclipse GST Spyder, i am so happy to see my gass millage. I'd be lucky to see more than 250 before the light would come on, Now if i drive relitivly sensibly i get about 370- 400 miles out of a full tank!!!
cheers

P.s. What the tank capacity? & what level octane to you guys normally use?

55L/14.5G tank (has a 10 litre/2.6G reserve)
I use 87 Octane
I usually get 500km/310miles before getting the low fuel light
For people that aren't mathletic that is 9L/100km, or 21.4 MPG (US gallons not UK)
I do 50/50 city/highway driving
And I do accelerate hard on occasion, from lights or highway on ramps

I have a 1999 Protege ES sedan.
It has a 13.2 gallon tank. I generally get between 300-320 miles per tank. That calculates to 22-24 mpg. I generally do about 65% city and 35% highway driving. I accelerate hard most of the time, shift generally between 4,000-6,000 rpm, and drive 80 mph on the freeway. I use 87 octane.
On long trips with cruise control set at 80 mph, I get about 410 miles per tank. That's about 31 mpg. EPA rating for my car is 26/30.

P5, 55 ltr tank, manual, 87 octane gas from husky/mohawk only
I've been keeping track of every fill since day 1 and the average is ~26 MPG 2/3 city driving, 1/3 highway (115km/hr avg)
That's with hard accelerating about a third of the time, a fair bit of idling in rush hour and almost always 3 of the 5 windows open all the way, all of which hurt mileage a bit.

I usually get about 400-450 out of a tank after driving about 25miles after the light has come on. My average gas mileage has been about 33mpg. Best 38.6mpg driving in the mountains. Worst 26.5mpg lots of stop and go and hard acceleration.
I love the long range between fillups of this car!

Which brings me to the next point, The car got up to 105 fairly quickly, but doged from there. NEED HP, in a big way. (May have to look at the new turbo or maybe something else?)

Gas
W/ Regular unleaded, not that ethanol crap i get about 275 miles per tank. That is w/ 95% city driving. I enjoy accelerating hard through the gears and i am sure it has a negative effect on my gas mileage (sp?)
