ok get this , he person who sold it to me is insisting that they ordered it from NOPI

read their reply email, read the first line and tell me if that is true or false! And i am going to get a copy of the receipt and figure out if this is authentic or not. its hardto say.
The appearence comes really close, butone thing that really set me off is that the INJEN LOGO is the wrong way, does injen make tat mistake?

second if you look at the middle of the pipe just where the special hose connecst and the sensor is do you see the pictue on the left, see how there is a slight bend or increase in diameter size? my pipe does not have that. its slight but its different, also my pipe is mega loud , guy said INJEN doest make that mistake, you shouldnt hear the air go thru it like that at idle. because of the way they wrap their pipe in the production process.

"What?!?! You have got to be kidding right? Injen is not going to make every intake the same every single time. We purchased this from NOPI on our wholesale account with them. I can gaurantee they are not passing off "replicas" of Injen intakes(that would be a huge lawsuit). I can also gaurantee that they are a lot larger Injen dealer than whoever you are taking it to. I can produce the reciept if you would like to prove where i purchased this intake from. The differences you pointed out are not major at all. From your pic to the other one you sent, I see very little difference. I have never saw, nor heard of an Injen copy floating around in Injen's own boxing. You are welcome to call NOPI, to verify that we did purchase this. I think this is ridiculous and we will not be wasting our time trying to prove that this is a "REAL" Injen intake. After bending over backwards to correct the problem and get you what you ordered, we feel this is a bit obsured."

Any thoughts guys?

if you put your mouse off the pictures above i will tell you which is which

It's injen R&D Intake. Injen research and development.

I thought all injen intake were red anyways. I've never seen one come with black cupplings. With that said call them and ask them.

Uh, dude.

Have a friend edit your spelling and grammar. It gives an unprofessional "Cheese-eating High School Boy" with a rant impression. I am not a hater- just trying to help guide you to the solution you are looking for.

You want to sound firm, but fair. Clearly delineate what exactly you want them to do. It sounds like you included your evidence in your correspondence. Why didn't they?
(Was that an EXACT quote from their email? The unprofessional "Cheese-eating High School Boy" comment would apply to them too!

Good luck!

My email to them is , i found some additional problems to the pipe you sent me, the second pipe they sent me i might add, they sent me a Protege turbo INJEN version, they took it back, and then sent me this pipe, what you read up there.

All i said,

problems look to be a, b, c, i said i dont think its a replica but their are some susspicous aspects to this pipe that do not match up with the others i have seen for my car.

thats it.

Word from INJEN is that its real, there was a last redesign of the intake.

now its one staight 2.75" size,

the emblem sticker was not showing all the letters, the RG INTAKE SYSTEM was actually CYBORG INTAKE SYSTEM
