has anyone with a P5 noticed any cracking sounds coming from the roof when they drive it diagonally from the road onto the driveway?
it sounds like creaking sounds when you try to push a table that is really heavy and it doesn't move.
my cars almost been one year old now but I'm not sure if I'm just paranoid but it only started happening after my last time at the dealer for service.

know what you mean..

I have the identical same sound, except it happens more often than just driving diagonally as you indicated. I notice it when going over some bumps (it only happens in certain climates...it seems when the car is either very cold or very hot). Do you have a sunroof? I assumed it had to do with contraction/expansion of my sunroof assembly, so never really did anything about it.

That's all I know...never really asked the dealer, since it typically seems like he understands the car less than I do!

Yes yes, those creaking noises in the headliner are driving me crazy! Since I'm pretty tall, my head (ear) is pretty near it, so it's really annoying. I'm thinking to send it to the dealer to get it resolved.

yea thats exactly the sound...
I have sunroof but temperature here in LA isn't really all that extreme so it could be that, but I never noticed it during the previous 9 months I had it.
I'm thinking of asking the dealers to check it out next time I bring it back for an oil change...
