Whats UP?
Just wanted to say HI cause well I just got me a new Protege Sedan DX (yeah I know Id rather have an es but hey it only cost me 10K new and hell Im cheap, plus the dealership i went to only had dx's left in 5 speed sedans). Checked out some of the site and I have to say there is a lot of good info on here. Sorry If I posted in the wrong place. But once again just thought Id say hi.

Gimme the details about your new DX. Is it a 5spd? what color? what options? Any plans for the future?

White, 5 speed (I hate autos personally), a/c and thats it. As for the future stuff. Im gonna get a security system installed, which im gonna serch on the site for cause I want something nice, but dont know much about it. I already have the head unit ordered for my stereo system a deh-p940mp. Im gonna do more to the stereo but just dont really know what all I want yet, was kinda thinking going JL audio all the way, but man that stuff is expensive we'll just have to see. As for the rest of the car well I'd LIKE to get a body kit, lower it, intake and exhaust now with forced induction in the future, some nice rims, and redo the interior. BUT Alas i dont make that much money as a maintinece man and well i got an apartmen and pay for my own school so the money thing is kinda tight. But definanly stereo, security system, and intake/exhaust.

If i could only win the lottery..............

might I suggest using the authentic mazdaspeed body pieces or the AutoExe body kits. They look real good. The suspension will be great either way, but I'd prefer the name brand Mazdaspeed stuff myself! It bolts right up on the sedan and will work great!

Thanks for the suggestions. Ill have to take a look at that stuff. Was already looking at the wings west body kit, but am willing to look at others Was thinkin of a custom exhaust though with a HKS Hiper muffler, cause my brother has one on his focus sti and ik sounds awesom. Plus I could feel a difference after he had is put on.
