How to install mud flaps?

Does anyone have the instructions from Protege OEM mud flaps? I just got some in the mail and I want to know how to install them (and what tools I will need) before I start poking around randomly.

Thanks in advance!

Mine came in after deal was made (it was included in the deal although I probably got screwed). I wish I could help you otherwise. I will look and see if they are metal screws or the plastic snap in kind.

you could probably sneak by with double sided tape if you clean the contact surfaces fully (as long as theyre smooth, i dont have the 'flaps)

I just looked at the service manual and it has pretty crappy instructions.. but maybe that's all that there is to it?

That is how mine is done. I just had to wait 4-5 months for the thing to come in to the dealership as well as the wind deflector for the sunroof. I threatened to go to a consumer help at a local news station, and they got the ball rolling! I also didn't get a free tank of gas at the dealership as promised because the fucktard of a salesman didn't like the good scores I gave the service. I didn't give him all "excellent scores" because it was nothing excellent about it the experience. I still had to spend a lot of time wheeling and dealing and the headache experience of buying a car from an I'm out to get you salesman. After that experience (no free tank of gas and such), I'll never buy from them again. It goes to show you that when the paperwork is signed, "**** you, have a nice day, NEXT!" There are only 2 dealerships here in the Charleston area that are honest, but it's a Chevy and Ford dealership. I guess my next car will be one or the other, unless I find a used import on the lot.

Exclamation Will they fit on my MP5?

Hey let me know if you have side sills on your MP5! I do, but have not found any Mazda sites that sell mud guards for 03 MP5 with side sills. Only sites I can find are mud guards for MP5's with no side sills. You think Mazda would have thought of that when they put side sills on MP5's, altering the shape of the vehicle!!

You can find mud guards for your MP5 at below link, but you have to look under Protege, they will still fit your MP5, As long as you don't have side sills that is!
