how to install sparco steering wheel w/quick release

i hav a protege 99 Lx 1.6L . im trying to install a sparco steering wheel w/quick release. my steering wheel has an airbag in it. Also how can i bypass the airbag sensor w/it going off. if some1 can hook me up with info on how to do this mod!!

You need the adapter first and foremost. You will most likely have to find the Airbag fuse and yank that. Maybe even disconnect the battery for peace of mind.

hell ya man thanks alot!! ill for sure tak pics of it. ill probably have it in like a month. also ill have pics of the whole car to give u guys an idea of what im doin. huge project this year.

actually its to prevent these protege haters from gettin in my ride. i checked out the sparco site and the steering wheel is $250, quick release kit w/adaptor $150.
ya i know its a bit much but that **** is worth it!! Better havin my stero ripped off than my whole car.....

through a digital camera. i usually connect the cam to computer, go to a photo shop program, copy and paste the pics onto WORD, save it, the cut past onto the wallpaper (this would be saved on a seperate file) then when your on this sight, go to "Go Advanced" tab instead of "Post Quick Reply".

once there (if you scroll down) click on the tab that says "Manage Attachments"

then open the file you saved the pic on and downlead that file. it usually shows up as a "jpg"

then post your reply and it should be on "attached thumbnails"

damm all that just to put pics....oh well ill try my best. i usually go to the library when im on this site but ill use my dad comp cause he has the whole camera program. as far as my car goes the whole interior is ripped out except my driver seat. my friend is spraying everything for me and we're gonna diamind plate the floor. lets just say........sweet= here i come evo8(**** on me the other day...bastard!!!)

it is a long *** thing to do to get a pic on, but everyone on this sight expects to see a picture of someones car, motor, ect

Just to let you know..alot of would-be thieves carry around steering wheels when they are looking to do jobs these days. They are starting to shy away from the smash and grab of the old days.

Just be wary of that fact too.

ya i know i think alot of people r dying to see the newly finished turboed engine!!! i just hav to stop spending my money on junkfood&teckademics dvds(i hav all of them) but believe me im going to hav that turbo even if i hav to cut out 1 of my kidneys to buy one...lol!!

hell ya man its called dynasty 5. Dado got his m3 turbo charged and he also custom made this badass exhaust that comes out of the side. I got the dvd last week on tuesday(release date). Maan that is prob 1 of the best car dvds ive ever seen!!!

who the hell is gonna try to steal a car with no steering wheel, no seats, no pannels, and no carpet!!!....hmmm...something is wrong then Besides i have a top notch alarm on my ride.

listen bro how about i send u the floppy along with regular photos and ya hook a bratha up!! if ya do a good job ill hook ya up with som lut?? How about a video cam casset tape with the footage...then ya work ur magic!!!!
