hyperground wires

In sport compact car I saw an ad for hyperground wires by Sun auto. I guess what they do is re-route the ground points of a cars electical system to be more efficient. I went to there website and saw some results of the power increases. The S2000 had a hp gain of I think 12. Has anyone put these on there protege? I am interested to see how they do. They also come indifferent colors to dress up your engine compartment.

U thinks it's that easy to make...

Listen... these wires are specially made, and according to the article it's not something that you can get from a stereo store. What's going to happend is people are going to try to make these grounding wires themselves from stereo cable and it ends up not working or not working as well, and they'll say, "This doesn't work... don't waste money... bla bla bla" Well, I got them and it works well. You don't have to get them, O K!!! I wouldn't mind being the few that has what many don't have... or even after telling people that it does work... they bash me or say its a waste of money... I mean c'mon! It works for my car... don't believe it for you don't want to, I don't work for the freaking company ok! Damn!

I've been looking into these Hyperground wires for some time now also. At first I was thinking of adding a new intake to my car but due to the decrease in milage and the increase in gasoline prices I'm not intirely sure this is such a wise choice.

Yes, I've been reading lots of articles on the hypergrounds and all seem to agree that they do in fact, work. They come in 3 sizes for different engines sizes. In our cars we would use the Smalls (for 4 cylinder engines). I've found them at a shop in the area for CAD$170. That was for the Medium wires for V6 engines though as they did not have any of the Smalls at the time and I was too stupid to ask for the Smalls. - I M WEE TODD ID.

Hope this helps!

i made them out of 2 gauge amp wire and it worked well... not gonna say "dont do it it wont work blah blah blah", but i wouldnt spend 100+ of hard earned cash for them when you CAN get the same results with a good diy kit

i imagine with 1/0 cable up to 4 gauge cable, if you replace you ground on your battery, your engine and run a new wire from your alt to you battery, you would get the same results.

Ground wires

I used the kit from arospeed and It works just fine. Dressed up the engine too. Just my 2 cents.

Without even seeing them or testing them I'd have to call BS. What good is upgrading the grounding circuits if the power circuits are the same. You will still have a voltage drop. Try running your 600 watt amp with a 4ga ground lead and a 14ga power lead and let me know how it works.

-edit- Actually I see that walight01 came to about the same conclusion...
