Angry I Hate Drunk Drivers

Don't you just love when youre in your bed, about to fall asleep, and suddenly you hear someone calling your name and telling you that some guy just ran into your car....my poor '00 ES got her bumper and tail light cracked cuz some guy had one too many and forgot how to turn a steering wheel around those parked cars... clearly he had done this before too because he spit back his insurance info off the top of his head... so yeah i guess im in the market for a new rear bumper and left tail light... maybe i can save a little money from the insurance check and put some money towards my CF hood.......

He was driving a Nissan truck with no bumper, so the bumper mounts pierced my bumper...then he told me i could probably just buff it out....i wouldve liked to see that bondo job

oh and jon...Thanks again for the corners...hang on to those tail lights, after i get the estimate from the insurance ill let you know if i have the money to take them from you...that would be awesome tho thanks

No problem, You could probably save yourself some money, if you repair the bumper yourself. Take fiber glass and fill the hole and bondo to smooth it out and repaint. That is, if you have experience with that stuff. Another option is to buy a new bumper, i've seen them on ebay for $90 (unpainted).

yeah i found the bumper on ebay for $80 with shipping, and i dont have a whole lot of experience with that kind of repairs, but im pretty sure i can handle puttin on the new bumper cover, so thats probably the way i will go....

Very simple to put on a few screws and fastners. Have it painted shouldn't be too expensive.

so yeah, not a drunk driver this time, but a lazy-eyed delivery driver, but same result, different bumper...i was parked yet again (exactly 7 days after the last time my car was hit while parked) and i got hit again, this time scratching the front bumper and pushing it about 1.5" off its mounts....just wonderful luck im having....anyone have some green paint so that i can hide the huge bullseye that must be on my car.......
