Exclamation I need a final definite answer please

I finally got a deal on a mazdaspeed protege (2003.5) front bumper. My question is whether or not its gonna fit on my car, or if its gonna be easy to put on.

Does the 03.5 MSP front bumper fit a protege or P5? Because I have a protege grill, headlights and front clip on my P5. You can check out the pics on my car domain page.

If not, what do I need? Headlights and grill from a P5? If I have to, where can I get these? I can probably just get the ebay aftermarket grill . Thanks for the help.

The protege5 body kit is the exact same body kit as the MP3 and MSP. The front bumper will fit.

the bumper however will not fit a 2002 protege sedan.

(where'd the quick reply box go?)

You'll need the hood from a P5 or MSP as well as the lights and grill to make the bumper fit. I'm not sure about the fenders.

Isn't the hood the same between 02 P5 and 02 sedan? The lights are different, but they are the same shape and size.

Luzer's right, and I'm on glue. Sorry for the false info, Kevin.

I wish I could answer your questions with a more definite answer, but you should be able to use your hood and your headlights. I don't know about the grille though. You will probably need other less obvious parts, but I don't know what they are.

I think the headlights should be interchangable as well .. they're different on the inside but their shape should be the same. Definitely need a new grille though ..

You'll need a Protege5 or MSP grille (same grille, MSP grille has the top bar painted body color, but if you're having a body shop do the work you might as well buy the Protege5 unpainted grille and have them paint it.. or just leave the top bar black like the Protege5 came stock.

You'll need the wheelwell splash guards from a Protege5/MSP/MP3 as well, I'm assuming your car has the "regular" sedan ones right now.

Your current headlights will work fine, but damn why the hell did the body shop not just get Protege5 headlights.. I don't think they are any more expensive, and to do the sedan headlights they had to rewire stuff.

No worries at all about hood, fenders, etc, but you'll need the Protege5/MSP/MP3 bumper support or things will fit all funny.
