I just got an MP5 with 5-speed white with chrome wheels... I really like the car but have noticed the after driving it for an hour or so I smell like exhaust. Anyone else having this problem or know what it could be ?

 

You just got it? I smell the same smells in my car, but it is normal for new cars because the car is still breaking in.

I hope you're not torturing the car, yet?

 

If it's brand new, it'll stink to high heaven for about a week. All that sealant & gunk has to burn off all the hot parts. If it's an actual exhaust smell, not just a "hot" smell, you might want to see if it's got a bad gasket somehwere in the exhaust, but I'm sure what you're smelling is "break-in stink."

I believe it's all the teflon that they scotch guard the internal components of the car with. That salty sea water air can do a number on the internals if they seep into the containers.
