Injen is currently looking for a 99-up 1.8L Protege for prototyping and testing. We are also looking for the Protege ES 2.0L of the same years. Please contact me @ 909-839-0706 M-F 8-5pm PST if you are interested and are in the area of Pomona, CA.

Welcome to the board Phillip. I was wondering if you were going to post or not (I saw that had signed up before). Hopefully there's some people in your area that can get their Protege's in and help you out, and you help them out in the process.

Phillip,

Do you plan on having a dyno done(anytime soon???) on the 2.0L CAI?

Just curious.

Hey Phillip, checked with a couple more of our groups & havent had any response yet. I put the bug in Rons ear & told him I'd find someone, posted some messages weeks ago & no takers. Guess theres no 1.8L in your area. We'll eventually find someone! Yes, Dyno for the 2.0L would be a great thing.

During any of our product design and testing, we always dyno our cars with various intake system designs to make sure that the consumer has the best performing intake system on the market. Any person that volunteers their car will get a free intake system and dyno chart when they pick up their car. We will also provide a rental if needed, but you must be over 21. I hope that will be a better incentive for those of you that are still unsure. Anyone with any questions can call me or Ron D. at 909-839-0706 M-F 8-5pm.

Best regards,
Phillip Phong

I've volunteered my '99 ES 5-spd for the Injen intake. I'm supposed to get a call back within a day or so. Hopefully my car will be in Injen's shop next week. I'll keep everyone posted on the results and take some pics...
