There's a company called Ion Performance. Their web site isn't working yet, but it's www.ionperformance.com

They supposedly have a complete header, high-flow cat, cat-back system for the Protege5 (probably others as well) that would net 20 HP at the wheels. Seems really high, but still it'd be the only system out that allowed a proper header.

There was some talk about them like a month ago, but I never heard anything after that. Anybody know what happened with this system?

If not that setup, I was thinking about going with the Racing Beat cat-back. Don't think that one's available yet, but maybe somebody out there got lucky and has one. If so, what's the sound and power like?

Can't really help. Their web site kind of worked last week...had categories of products and stuff, but then they took it down. There wasn't anything for our cars listed at the time, but somebody on another board posted some info anyway...just checking to see if they'd finished their system yet.
