Angry Locked Myself Out Lastnight...

Yah...so I locked myself out somehow while dropping off a gift for a friend. Don't know HOW it happened, but I managed to do numerous bad things in one sitting:

I locked myself out.
I had the car running!
I blocked my friend's driveway (his roomie was pissed and went offroading in his Montero to get around me)
I was bumping Ol' Dirty Bastard...lol...LOUD...in a quiet neighborhood...I felt so bad....ok no I didn't.

So my gf was doing her damn Mary Kay meeting, so her phone was off...so she couldn't be reached to come open the door....she was spoken to.

So I had to resort to a more clandestine operation:
I got a wire hanger...and in the process left a few scratches & some blood...not quite noticeable from afar....but once you get up on it...you're like WTF!? Someone tried to break into your ride? (Well...that's what I'll tell my insurance co.)

Nothing a little sanding and some touch up paint won't fix. Man...from now on...I'm taking the keys out regardless. It was supposed to be a quick in and out job.

******* Murphy's Law.

**I know, I know...post is no good w/out pics**
You'll have your pics after lunch you sick bastards.

this is the sole reason why I always roll my window down when I get out of a running car.

Did it at the damn bank today. I scratched it up and tore the weatherstripping a little, then called Pop A Lock. Bam, it was open before I could even see what he did. Actually it was a wedge and a metal hook in the rear passenger door. $30 bucks and an hour wasted, but State farm covers it on all of their policies so I'll get the money back in about 5 days.

Hey I found this out the hard way. I don't have power locks or anything like that but what i did when i was locked out: i also used a hanger but i pulled the trunk release latch and that popped the trunk. I got in through there b/c i knew my seats were not latched all the way (i think it was the pass side rear seat) NEway it seemed much quicker to get in that way for me. I now carry a spare in my wallet and ((try this)) behind my license plate ((of course, when no one's looking ))
