Talking I know the feeling!

I know exactly where you're coming from man! Ever since I did the Injen CAI, I've been "chirping" the tires off each light, just because I like to. They'll really break loose if I want 'em to, but I have a vision of me doing that, and then looking in the rearview to find - a cop.

The P5 is one fun car!

I would like to welcome you two, and the rest of us here to Racers Anonymous. Now that they have gone, who would like to go next? Its ok, i know this is difficult for all of us, but you must let it out, its the first step to recovery...

If you want to race just go to the highway on Friday or Saturday
night and drive with like 80 .............when you see someone flying by you the race is on...........

if you want to race from the light then I don't know...........

just ask random people

ive had to fight hard not to race people in the town where i go to college. the main strip is 35, and covered in cops, but all the damn civics seem to want to race me for some reason. the only car that ive actually raced so far, was a good friend of mines ford zx2. he has cold air intake, and straight pipe into a tip, and short throw shifter on his, and at the time, my car was 2 days old, and no mods. off the line at a light, we were dead even until about 70 or 80. after 80, he left me. same thing on the exit ramp getting on the highway. i was right on his *** till we hit around 75, and he started walking away. guess thats where the straight pipe kicks it. he looses some of his low end, but picks it up on the top end. it was a good match though. i think now that ive been driving my car a bit more though, i could leave him till we got up some speed.

Well i guess the easiest way to find people to race you is on the freeway,
just like what Identity_X said.

Another way is go to the place where many youngster
hand out,
becareful many of them are gengster, but if you can talk i guess they will race you.
In Los Angeles, there are a few place where many people do illegal midnight racing such as torrace (local street) and somewhere in desert on ontriomills.
They usually start racing somewhere between 11 to 12, until 3 or 4 in the morning.

Often enough, there are more than 100 cars, but usually is between 30-40 cars.

A few times police have bust this place , but as you can expect
that people will more from one spot to another.
Many doing it for fun, but usually the bet is start at $ 50.

My suggestion if you guys interested to join this midnight racing is "Just becareful", especially
to the police.
My freind car just got impound a few months back because he do engine swamp on his car ('95 civic SI) with B-18 engine and the engine is registed as coming from stolen vehicle, which actually my freinds paid for $3500 from local junkyard.
To sattle this case he have to pay $ 3000 to release his car and the charges.

well i hope this entertain
good luck guys.... and happy racing
